Thermal baths in Paris
Paris spreads along the Seine, and its hammams are scattered from the Left Bank, where the Grande Mosquée's women-only steam bath faces the Jardin des Plantes, to the Sentier quarter and the 19th arrondissement. Beside Gare de Lyon, Ground Control, a former rail depot, runs shared saunas with cold baths.

Hammam Medina Center opened in 2001 near Ourcq metro in the 19th arrondissement, with a eucalyptus steam room, a dry sauna, a hot marble slab and a cold pool.
