Kaupinoja Sauna
A wood-fired public sauna on the Näsijärvi shore, run by the Tampere Winter Swimmers association since 1977 and rebuilt after a fire to reopen in April 2010 with room for about 60 on the benches. The stove holds 800 kg of stones and a hole in the lake ice is kept open all winter, reached by heated mats and steps.
