Thermal baths in Escaldes-Engordany
Escaldes-Engordany runs straight on into Andorra la Vella along the Gran Valira river, high in the Pyrenees. Caldea, the glass-towered spa here, draws on the town's own hot springs and has a lagoon with a see-through floor hanging over the river. A hiking path climbs from Escaldes into the Madriu-Perafita-Claror valley, with mountain refuges along the way.
