Swimming in Cala Gonone

Cala Gonone is the seaside village of Dorgali, on the Gulf of Orosei about 25 km east of Nuoro. Down the coast to the south, at the Baunei border, Cala Luna is a sand beach under cliffs with caves, backed by a lagoon where the Codula di Luna stream comes out. Inland, about 12 km south-west, you can walk into the Gola di Gorropu, a canyon in the Supramonte.
