Swimming in Port-Cros

Port-Cros is one of the Îles d'Hyères and lies inside Port-Cros National Park, about 45 minutes by boat from Hyères, with crossings from Le Lavandou too. Plage de la Palud is on the north shore, about half an hour's walk from the harbour village. In summer the Fort de l'Estissac, some 20 minutes on foot from the village, opens for exhibitions and guided visits.
